Description
Compared to DSO138, the new DSO Shell has similar bandwidth with significant improvements in structure, mechanical, and operation. The sensitivity has been extended in both directions : 5mV/div – 20V/div (DSO138: 10mV/div – 5V/div.
Display and MCU are now mounted on the same mainboard to avoid inter-board pin-headers.
For better separation between analog and digital circuits, the analog channel is on a separated board. Without the analog portion, the mainboard is actually a general-purpose control board. The mainboard is fully installed (except a few through-hole components), and factory tested.DSO Shell comes with an easy to modify enclosure. Rotary encoder makes parameter adjustment quick and easy.
Power supply (not included): 9V (< 10V!) standard 5.5mm/2.1mm DC plug or 2-pin connector (0.1' pitch)Adequate soldering and troubleshooting skills required.
