    Passt in jedes (Digital-)Labor

    Linux App Required

Love this power supply Kit. Only two faults with it. No Linux app and.... The wifi module has terrible range! I wonder is it because it is encased in a metal enclosure??? : )

    JT-RD6006 : super produit

    Livraison : ultra rapide.
Emballage : remarquable.

    Not to worry.

    In reply to R Hermens:

You don`t have to worry about the RD6006. You are of course right, you can definitely do it, both devices have an internal fuse in the power supply unit, the RD 6006 as well as the RD6012. The housings actually acts as a ground. However, when assembling the housing, it must be ensured that the screws are in contact with the bare metal of the housing.

    Additional features

Using the PC software, it is possible to:
    * program a sequence of voltage-steps or currents.
    * Program a voltage- or current scan.
    * etc. etc.

I use the powersupply as voltage-logger by setting the voltage output at 0V. When a voltage is applied to the output(!), the software records this voltage as trend, and can be saved as BMP or EXCEL file!

    > The powersupply is also known as `Riden Power Supply RD-6006`.
    > The latest Riden SW and FW can be found on:
    http://www.ruidengkeji.com/rdupdate/
    > The PC-software checks for the latest FW & SW versions.
    > Joy-it does not update their SW and FW upto now.
    > The andriod APP works great as well, but acts as `server`, therefore the PC-software can`t connect via WiFi

    > The power-supply is very accurate:
When I set the voltage at 10.00V, the output is 9.9999V
And set for 1.000A, the current is 1.0004A
    [measured with a Fluke867B]

I am very happy with this power-supply :-)

Cost effective but I want more!

This is a very good solution, but what I missing is a bipolar version, with simultaneous and tracking + and - outputs. That would really be a killer! Please, Mr. JOY-iT?

Looks good but fix Safety issue first!

The 6006 and its the big brother 6012 are lacking the grounding of the metal casing. There should be a ground wire from the case to the earth wire. Easy to fix yourself but make sure to scratch trough the painted surface.
Also the main fuse of 10AT is quite big for only 400W. On the 6012 there is not even a main fuse, the power supply is connected to the main cable directly.
