But there are also important differences:
- The AD407 has a screen diagonal of 7 inches. But its successor, the AD409, has a screen that's 3 inches larger, which is an improvement that will put less strain on your eyes. Moreover, this digital microscope offers a magnification of up to 300x, while the AD407 only has a magnification of 200x.
- The larger screen also has a disadvantage: the AD409 weighs 2.2 kg, which is 600 g more than the AD407. So if you want a lighter version and are happy with a 7 inch screen, the AD407 is the best choice.
- But if you want PC support and mobile connectivity, then you should go for the AD409. With support for Windows (7 or higher) and WiFi functionality, the AD409 sets the bar a lot higher.
