Elektor has a long history with audio power amplifiers. We are proud to present yet another fully analog circuit developed entirely in house. Despite the simple design of this audio power amp with just one pair of transistors in the output stage, Q-Watt can deliver over 200 quality (Q!) watts into 4 ohms with exceptionally low distortion thanks to the use of a special audio driver IC.

Excepting heatsink, power supply, enclosure, and mechanical parts, this kit contains all components to build a monoblock amplifier. To build a stereo amplifier, please order two kits.

NOTE: Due to an out of proportional price raise of trimmer capacitor C3, we replaced this component with a fixed value capacitor that fits the reserved solder pads of the original C3 and that works just as well. Please refer to the image on the right. (see Attachements/Downloads)
