    Analoge en digitale ATV ontvangen.

    Amateur televisie.
    Ik gebruik (oa) deze HackRF tijdens de ATV contest van de VERON voor het ontvangen van analoge en digitale ATV signalen. Het grote frequentiegebied maakt dat ik geen separate up- en downconverters nodig heb, ik kan 10m 6m 4m en ook 13 , 9 en 6cm rechtstreeks ontvangen! Een bandfilter voor elke band is echter wel noodzakelijk, evenals een antennevertsterker voor de hogere banden. Het programma wat ik gebruik is SDRAngel, daar kruipt wel wat tijd in om de juiste instellingen te vinden. Ik gebruik de HackRF (nog?) niet om te zenden...

    HackRF use Linux!

    Nice gadget, but if you want to use it also for transmitting, then leave windows aside and use Linux! For rx in Windows use uSDR that works fine with it, I use it here myself standalone with a portapack as a kit on this unit, so you can use it without a laptop, be aware that this device is very broad band and therefore has a lot of trouble with birdies because there is hardly any filtering, So if you want to use it only for a certain frequency area choose a tuned rubber Duck antenna, this will also prevent you from blowing up 1 of the mmics by too much signal or misadjustment see various forums what you can do with it, the applications are almost limitless!

    HackRF, gebruik Linux!

    Leuk speeltje, maar als je er ook voor zenden wil gebruiken laat dan windows links liggen en gebruik Linux! Voor rx in Windows gebruik uSDR dat werkt er prima mee, ik gebruik hem hier zelf standalone met een portapack die je als kit op deze unit prikt waardoor je hem zonder laptop kan gebruiken, wees bewust dat dit speeltje erg breedbandig is en dus veel last heeft van birdies aangezien er amper enige vorm van filtering is, dus wil je hem alleen voor een bepaald frequentie gebied gebruiken kies dan een hiervoor afgestemde rubber Duck antenne, hiermee voorkom je bovendien dat je 1 van de mmics opblaast door te veel aan signaal of misaanpassing zie diverse forums wat je er allemaal mee kan, de toepassingen zijn haast onbegrensd!
