Yet again Elektor and element14 are hosting a webinar and this time it’s all about NFC Gateways. In this webinar, presenter Clemens Valens shows the ease of creating a contactless connection between your own circuits and your smartphone. Modern smartphones increasingly have NFC interfaces which allow them, for example, to read RFID tags or exchange data with another NFC device. Elektor’s NFC Gateway in e-BoB style published in the May & June 2015 edition, lets you explore the capabilities of your own smartphone.
But that’s not all. The built-in tag IC lets you read and write data using simple commands over a serial interface with the help of an ATmega328 acting as the bridge. Watch the webinar to find out how to do all of this, and more. Clemens Valens heads Elektor Labs and is a regular contributor to Elektor Magazine. With almost 20 years’ experience in embedded systems design, Clemens is currently focused on sound synthesis techniques, rapid prototyping and the popularization of technology.
The Webinar will be held on 28 May 2015 from 4:00 PM CEST to 5:00 PM CEST, so book your place to now to make sure you don’t miss out!
