New Elektor movies on YouTube

Where our UK competitors EW and EPE seem stuck in the past as far as new media technologies are concerned to support, announce and generally liven up electronics projects, Elektor has its own channel on YouTube and is happily adding movies. No beautiful actresses, sorry, but the sort of tech stuff readers buy our magazine for.

The Elektor/Microdrones Quadrocopter can be seen in action at Embedded Nuremberg, 2008. The lightweight, extremely agile craft was decidedly ‘flown’ by Thorsten Kanand and drew quite a crowd! We hope to get the ‘copter in publication soon.

The Elektor Internet Radio project from the April 2008 issue has met with massive interest. The assembly and soldering of the leaded parts on board we supply through Elektor Shop has been filmed to help constructors finish the project successfully. The film was made by Harald Kipp of Egnite in cooperation with Elektor labs using a workdesk tidied up for the occasion!
