Delay-line Digital Memory (ca. 1968)

In November 1968, the Belgian company MBLE (Manufacture Belge de Lampes et de Mmatériel Electronique) published an article in its “Special new techniques” magazine presenting a new device: a delay line capable of memorizing digital information for logic and calculation. The device was similar to the delay lines used in TV colour decoders, but complete with all the electronics needed to make it work.
