Too much carbon dioxide (CO2) is harmful not only for the environment but also for our own health. In just two hours of a meeting or classroom presentation the normal concentration of this gas can rise tenfold. The build-up of CO2 in the blood prevents the unfortunate participants from absorbing enough oxygen, with giddiness, nausea and even breathlessness a worst-case outcome.
