ATM18 Mini Chess Computer
The Elektor ATM18 system can be used to make a surprisingly simple and effective chess computer. The only additional hardware required is a few low-cost pushbuttons. The software for the project is written in C, and it was far from an easy task to fit the program in the 8 KB of program memory offered by the ATmega88.
