Automatic Running-in Bench, part 2

Last month, we began constructing a running-in bench for i/c engines for scale models with the description and wiring of the electronics boards. Now we need to build a chassis capable of housing our new boards, the engine to be run-in, and all the essential accessories.
Building the boards led us to make intensive use of the soldering iron and measuring instruments in our electronics lab.This month, the saw, drill, and screwdrivers are coming to the fore. To get the best out of these boards, it’s vital to have a bench that is perfectly suited to this very specific activity of running-in model engines.
