Marine Weather Data with the SDR

This article is based on the author’s experience and is intended to help other persons interested in this subject get started with receiving weather data using the Elektor SDR receiver. A certain amount of handiwork and experimenting was necessary between unpacking the SDR module from the box and the first weather report displayed on the screen of the author’s notebook computer. However, since then the receiver has accompanied the author onboard and fulfilled its duties faultlessly.
