The cathode ray tube (CRT) has made way for the LCD and digital has replaced analogue technology. This trend is also evident in the design of oscilloscopes. Prices are falling: a good specification DSO from China can now be found for € 600 (£ 450) or less. We got the chance to put two economy scopes through their paces.
