Lamp in a Wine Bottle
An articole about LEDs of various colours submerged in a liquid, giving strange and beautiful lighting effects. The ultraviolet-active dye ‘fluorescein sodium’ gives off an intense green light when stimulated using blue, or even better, ultraviolet, LEDs. Rhodamine B is another ultraviolet-active dye: in this case the emitted light is bright red.
