Surround Light

The analogue approach

Published in issue 374, February 2008

Surround Light

The operating principle consists of measuring the average colour of an image and using colour LEDs to emit the same colour in order to ‘paint’ an impression of the image on the background behind the screen. This generates a more intense experience, creates a visual point of reference, and produces refined mood lighting. The target audience for this product consists of voracious gamers.
