Using a broadband router to control home automation devices

Home Automation Controller
A wireless router can be used for a variety of unusual purposes, such as controlling home automation devices. Standard broadband routers can be used for many purposes that their designers never had in mind. In this article, we show you how to modify a standard wireless router for use as the central control unit of a home automation system.
