According to the 1960 manual, the 1650-A is a “self-contained impedance measuring system, which includes five bridges for the measurement of capacitance, resistance, and inductance, as well as the generators and detectors necessary for dc and 1-kc ac measurements”. In 1960, a 1650-A without optional accessories would have set you back just shy of one thousand US dollars.
