An el-cheapo LCD Controller
LCDs are in. Just about everything these days has a display somewhere. That’s nice, since the displays can always be used for something else. Of course, it’s a bit difficult if the LCD doesn’t have a built-in controller. The controller chips are either much too small for DIY work (SMDs with way too many leads) or simply unavailable. But with a bit of ingenuity, it’s always possible to devise a solution.
