Solar cell lead-acid charger

During the summer months they appear again all over the place: those solar powered garden lights. During the day they store the captured solar energy, which is used at night to provide lighting. If you'd like to use this energy for something different, such as listening to the radio or playing a CD, you'll find this circuit fits the bill.
Resistors:
R1 = 100mOhm (e.g. Digikey # 12FR100OH-ND)
R2 = 82k
R3 = 10k
P1 = 2k5 preset
Capacitors:
C1,C2= 100nF
C3,C4 = 47µF 16V radial
C5 = 47pF
Semiconductors:
D1 = MBR350 (Digikey # MBR350-ND)
IC1 = MAX1771-CPA (Digikey # MAX1771EPA-ND)
T1 = IRFU3708 (Digikey # IRFU3708-ND)
Miscellaneous:
K1,K2 = 2-way PCB terminal bloc, lead pitch 5mm
