New Road Toll Systems
If you are planning to drive a lorry over to Continental Europe you wont get far on any motorway before running into a toll system. Germany’s sophisticated new network using GPS, GSM and infrared technology has only been up and running since the beginning of the year but the Department of Transport and UK Customs and Excise are watching closely and have announced their intention to introduce a similar system in the UK.
