PC-to-PC with Two Printer Cables

PC-to-PC with Two Printer Cables
A special cable known as Interlink or Laplink is usually necessary for a 4-bit direct cable connection between two computers. Using a small adapter between two printer cables or a different adapter between computer and printer cable can also accomplish this type of connection. The first adapter (Figures 1a and 2a) contains two 36-way Centronics connectors with crossed connections and is intended to connect two printer cables together. In order to make a compact assembly, vertical connectors have been used, but right-angle connectors may be used as well.
