You only need to know how…The language HP-GL/2 (Hewlett-Packard´s standardized Graphics Language) is so widespread on today’s printers and plotters that it seems a shame not to make more use of its capabilities. There is no need for any additional special software because you will find that HP-GL interfaces perfectly well with existing languages. It is also flexible and has a good instruction set. And, above all else, as you would expect from HP, it is very well documented!
