I have downloaded the two pdf articles on the High-end Preamp (Apr/May 2004) and find it to be a wonderful design that I am anxious to construct as part of a full music system in my home.
However, in the second article (High-end Preamp (II)) reference is made to two figures, figures 7 and 8, which are not included in the pdf of the article.
Figure 7 is said to provide "deep insight into the laboratory prototype," and would therefore be most helpful to have. Figure 8 shows how RF suppression networks were added to the inputs after having been shown to be necessary.
Please provide these two figures, in any format that is convenient (bitmap, jpeg, pdf) so that I can build this project the best it can be. You may email them to me if that is convenient.
Thanks much, folks!

Figures 7 and 8 were indeed never printed, apologies for that and sadly our records from 2004 indicate that they are not available either.
Fortunately most if not all relevant information for constructors may be gleaned from the large photo of the preamp at the start of part 2. Likewise Figure 8 is worded comprehensively at the end of the text. The 100 ohm stopper resistors may not be needed in all cases.
Happy to help but please note that this forum is not the recommended way of contacting me personally with queries on projects; these should normally come through the Feedback Form which enables messages to reach our designers almost directly.
regards,
Jan
