Philips TV remote is RC5 type, you might try one.

The MODULO D expects codes for a remote with an adress of 20.
That is NOT a TV zapper.

I have an original Philips TV remote, but it does not work with the modulo D amp. I've wired pushbuttons to the spare processor inputs (PD0, PD1, PD2) so can control the amp that way. It would be good to get the remote working though.

I noted that the magazine article photos show the IR receiver mounted 180 degrees rotated, with its leads bent backwards. The silk screening on the board I bought from Elektor has he receiver facing the other way (window facing inwards toward the display). I've followed the PCB tracks and my device seems to be the right way round (agrees with the PCB silk-sctreen). That's always assuming the receiver supplied in the Elektor kit was the correct part. Has anyone else managed to make the IR control work?

Hello,

I completed a Modulo D Amp and it works well. I haven't had any joy with the IR remote yet either and fitted some external switches to make it usable for the time being. What I really need are the fuse settings for programming the updated version of the software. I can't see it anywhere, although it was promised by the magazine text to be included in the zip file as an image? Any help greatly appreciated.
