hi I have just started getting some parts together to build this cap / esr meter but I am on a bit of a budget atm.
I was shocked to see the presets are about a quid each so is there any way I can economise here? Would it be impossible to set up accurately using standard presets?

Also I can only find a 7.87k resistor or maybe I should go for the next lower value which will at least give me the full range?
