I hope I am in the correct sub-forum to post this question?

I am about to order this kit (090451-71).
However, I also notice that there is a "Full graphics LCD display 132 x 32 pixels (090451-73)" listed.

Will I need both (the -71 lists a display in the description)?
Or is this item for folks that have had an accident with the first display?

I built this kit some time ago, and I certainly didn't order the display separately.

I also have a question of my own:
I'm looking for more information on the USB expansion option for this product. Has anyone implemented this?

P.S. I'm aware of the Bluetooth expansion option from the April 2010 magazine. But I would prefer USB.

Hi,

And thank you. Yes, I took a gamble and just ordered the base kit (the one ending in -71) and all was fine.

Assembled in less than a morning and it worked first time! Tested on the families Fords and was able to auto-detect and read info.
