I already finished construct this project but the problem is I don't understand how to store code into the PIC. I read the step countless time but don't understand the table either table 1 or table 2. I don't understand both of them. So I asking a help to anyone who finished construct this project or anyone who understand this project please help me and guide me how to program the code into the PIC. So I really appreciates anyone who can provide me the simple step.

Hi,
if you had the pre programmed IC from EE it should work as it is--

otherwise, you may download the software ZIP file form the construction projects site- access the concerned article-pic up the zip file 020294-11.zip-- unzip it and you get asm and hex files-- use a suitable PIC programmer and program the PIC with 020294-41.hex file.

yeah, I already programmed the PIC using codes provided by ELEKTOR, just like u said. But the problems is I didn't understand the steps to set the pass code (program the eeprom). If you read the article, the step to set the pass code is on the last page under the Number Entry. Can simplify the instruction to me?..

Hi, i had taken little more time to search for the issue from the bundles of indian reprints-- Yes, the first table will try to check the inputs to the final hardware without 8870 and PIC16F84

there after it is simulation-- nothing to do with programming of the IC.as i could read it.

in the absence of the hardware before me-little could be done.

please try to appeciate that the post construction description is only helping us to to check the functionality of the hardware --once without IC2 and IC3 and later by direct simulation of tones and to calibrate the receive level to input of 8870

I did checked as you told and I found bug, the optocoupler not work anymore. It's obviously my fault not to check first. Finally my project work and thanks to your guidance..

Pijo
