Thank you Hessel,
I wrote this morning to Colinbus support and they sent me an updated controller program that indeed behaves better, but I have to make a "real" run to be sure.
This new version of Colidrive is V3.0.0.0.75 and indeed DOES load .c3d files made with that postprocessor (the same you kindly attached) and now they run too. How accurately I do not know, as I said I have to try them out in a "real cut" situation.
I tried the ProfiDoit software from Piet van der Wal before, but it simply never found the Profiler machine on any COM port, no matter how I changed address of the serial port in bios or in the program itself: on the same PC I have to say that Colidrive (all versions) found the Profiler immediately on every COM port address and IRQ I used.
I also tried Lukacs Sudar programs (they are still installed on the milling PC), but there seem to be too many flavours of G-code and HPGL around to be sure if some ""quirk" came from the g-code, the Lukacs program, the Coilidrive software or from us...
We have to run "real" situations, but the postprocessor Vectric file seems reasonably comprehensible, and now that the Colidrive software loads its outputs could be worth investing time to make it fully work. I also asked Colinbus to check the pp file for inconsistencies that might be between Colinbus ATC machines and the Profiler, best thing would be to have a true cbr output.
I'll post here news as soon as they came, thanks for your help!
