For all people with a new Profiler Pro or those who updated their older one with the new PB3D-controller.
The software you can download from the Colinbus website has a little bug.
When you check at the Machine setup you will see that the controller is a PB2D, this is equal to the old Robby controller and can do only 2.5D and not 3D.
This is caused by a faulty colinbus.dat file.
I recently received the good file from colinbus and will attach it here, this because the support team is very busy and holiday-season has started.
The file have to be placed in ColiDrive\Data directory and replaces the file supplied in the package.
I'm not a very experienced user with the Profiler I received my kit around 14-july.

Do a Profiler forum search for postings by Cruster and you will have all the information you need about the so called "Pro".
I personally purchased a LPKF Protomat S42...

I can only adivise you to screen all messages on the (several linguages) Elektor Profiler fora.
This gives an objective picture (and much to learn), because it seems that here mostly only one person is answering messages with questions like yours..
Even if they are not your native linguage you can look at the pictures and if necessary translate the text via a internet translation service e.g. http://babelfish.yahoo.com/
Alas the English forum has in general much much less messages and pics then the Dutch and German forum.
