I want to identify a chip with the following characteristics:
8 pin dip
It is an oscillator of some sort - with complementary outputs
Tunable with a resistor and capacitor at least with the range 10 -50kHz
It is capable of sine or square output
Runs on +5V
Pin 1 is +5V
Pin 2 is RC timing connection
Pin 3 is logic in Sine/Square select
Pin 4 is NC
Pins 5 & 6 are complementary outputs
Pin 7 is NC
Pin 8 is Ground
Eliminated from my enquiries so far: 555,331,231,7242,LTC6903,MC1455,551,MAX038, ICL8038,LM566, XR2206.
If you recognise this chip, then please let me know.
Thanks
