I am seriously considering going into this. Can anyone advise if they think it's worth the money please. Does it actually suit a raw beginner with only the basics of electronic knowledge? It's quite expensive as I will need the eblocks as well. Also does it run on windows 7!? ,very important this one!

I've been told that everything runs on Windows 7, though a few of the free utilities that you get with the course may need to be used in compatibility mode.

It should be possible to get the Vista and XP compatibility modes working on the 64 bit version. You may need to check with Microsoft tech support, or Google around a bit.

NO its not worth the money nearly £400 for eblocks and theres not even £200 worth of electronics and yes i think it would be ideal for beginners if they sat down and corrected the many many mistakes in the course work im on page 69 and there have been alot of stupid print errors eg pg69 there are 10k pull down resistors on the switch board but in the diag just above this wise writing of theres you can clearly see marked that there resistor value is 4K7 and if you look on the board the resistor value is 4k7 poor poor quality
