Topic: Is the Elektor office on holiday or something?

Hi all, this may sound like a strange thing to ask, but I ordered the distance learning course for microcontrollers 2 weeks ago now and I haven't heard anything from Elektor.

I've now emailed the sales department and even the info email address to find out what the status of my order is and haven't heard anything at all.

I'm a bit bewildered to be honest, I'm pretty sure Elektor aren't con artists and I can't think why I would be getting ignored. I am trying my best to pay them for a product I really, really want but can't seem to get anywhere.

Anyone have any ideas or suggestions? thanks in advance.

That's very odd. I'll try and see if I can find out what went wrong. Which country did you order the course from?

Hi GeenBert, I ordered from the UK... I'm going to try the customer service line today as it's getting beyond a joke now.

I've contacted customer service in the UK. They advised me that your order has been received January 24 (one week ago and not two weeks btw), but the E-blocks you've ordered are on backorder. So your shipment is on hold, waiting for those parts to arrive. Your email was received January 26 at an address not in use for order related requests and it’s unclear what happened to it. Anyway, rest assured that you will receive your order as soon as the E-blocks arrive. Hope this helps!

Thank you for your e-mail which I received Friday the 27th of January at 13:42 o'clock.

Our opening hours on Friday are from 08:30 - 12:30 CET
Unfortunately we did not have access to our computersystem on Monday so we were not able to check the order status.
