Hs anyone had any experience of getting the TBLCF interface working with code warrior under Vista?
Although I can get the firmware to download correctly and Windows correcly recognises the device CodeWarrior is unable to talk to it.
The same board works perfectly under windows XP so I know this is a compatibility issue.
I'm not sure, however, whether this is down to Vista or the fact that I installed CodeWarrior 6.3 before installing 7.1. (On my XP machine I went straight to 7.1)
Has anyone else had the same experience and resolved it?

Hi Prof,
I have also be unsuccessful at getting the TBLCF working with vista. I think that the problem is with the TBLCF driver rather than with CodeWarrior. The TBLCF was created before the release of vista and was never indented to work with it.
I would be happy to hear if there is a way to get it working.

Same troubles here:
I flashed the TBLCF without any problems, despite running under Vista. But trying to erase gives the message: Error: Connect Failed. Clicking on the details button reveals only a series of dashes ---------------------- .
I tried replacing the libusb0 files with other versions, but that didn't make any diffrence, nor did restarting Coldfire.
I tried to debug the original digibutler, but that gives (of cause?) a simmilar error message: Colfire GDI protocol adapter: can't connect.
Are these the messages you get too? I will try programming under XP later. And allthough I hope that will solve the problem, I still would like evereything to work under Vista as well.

Hi,
I had the same problem, no communication between TBLCF and DigiButler and got the error message 'Connection failed'.
I soldered the connector J1 to the wrong side of TBLCF PCB. It must be soldered on side where all the SMD's reside !!
Maybe it can help to solve your problem.

I wonder wether this topic has been solved by some-one? I also have my TBLCF working ok using windows XP, however my computer is becoming more and more instable (it's an oldie ) So I'm planning to by a new one, BUT .. This new one wil come with Vista. Question is: will this new environment work ?
Someone any positive experiences using Vista ?

If it is not solved, you could try with an installed XP on a virtual mashine. That should work, althoug not an optimal solution for longer times. But in the long run, the problem skould be solved anyway.

I tried the Virtual XP machine (VMware) solution. This works fine. I agree, not the perfect (long run) solution, but for the time being acceptable.
I also think that the actual problem is the USB driver for the TBLCF. Anyone an idea how to get an update for this ?

Good to hear it was a workable solution.
