Since DRM+ (up to 174MHz) has become an official broadcasting standard on 31 August 2009, is there any chance to upgrade the design for higher frequencies or maybe design a successor which covers the whole frequency range?

(Sorry if this is a stupid question, I'm no electronics engineer at all, just a homegrow solder-boy.)
