BoeingBrown, you generally seem very happy with your profiler. Is that so? What have you made with it so far and how are you finding using it? I remember Bartman asking you for some pictures a while ago

Hi Cruster, The reason for NOT answering was that the tone of the communication was not really constructive i.m.o. I do NOT want to discuss this again! I do not like to place pictures here to prove that I am not lying. My experiences are indeed very positive, but ! a lot of exercise is needed. People who think that they can load a picture and a wonder wil happen do not fare well. I begin to produce panels for m Boeing767 home cockpit. Drawing in AutoCad, toolpath in RAMS, and then Colidrive. Knob next message in DeskProto. It did take me a lot of time to modify the letters of FuturaBook (is a sort of Boeing font) to make it possible to mill 4 mm (!) letters tiny (0.47 mm) ball nose cutters of the dentist. I even succeeded in making 2.5 mm letters (picture). Rams has to calculate paths between the two lines of which a letter consists. I painted casted (not extruded, it melts with tiny mills) with primer and 3 times "BoeingBrown". Thereafter I mill 0.1 to 0.1 mm painting away. Much time consuming experimenting at first. As we all know, the Z-axis of the FERM tool is not good enough for precise "Z-work", so I do milling panels (see attached pictures) with the Ferm, and the letters with a tiny Proxxon I happened to have available. New holder as you can see. More pictures in next message, for technical reasons in this forum. So, in conclusion. here everything is possible. But : EXERCISE, EXERCISE, EXERCISE, EXERCISE. Hessel

Thanks a lot. Guess I should have checked the timestamps more carefully. Still, they could *really* use a good web designer to give that site a once-over!
